Frequently Asked Questions
What is part number EZ9225580004 on a HOWO truck?
It is the cab central control unit - the central locking / body control module that receives the remote key signal and drives the door locks and the related cab functions. It is supplied with a two-button remote key and an external receiver antenna.
My remote key stopped locking and unlocking the doors. Is this unit faulty?
First check the key's battery - it is the most common cause. If the doors still lock from the interior switch but not from the remote, the receiver section of the unit or its antenna lead is the likely fault. If nothing works at all, check the unit's fuses and connectors.
Is EZ9225580004 the same as EZ9225580024?
No. EZ9225580024 is a different (older) HOWO body control unit. Match the number printed on your old module, or send us a photo of its label, before ordering.
Will the new unit work with my existing remote keys?
That depends on how your keys are coded. Tell us your truck model and year when ordering and we will confirm whether the keys need re-pairing and how it is done for your model.
