Frequently Asked Questions

What is YZ166424000017?

It is the headlamp protection grille (wire mesh guard) for SINOTRUK HOWO TX / NX trucks, sold as a left + right pair. It bolts in front of the headlamps to protect the lenses from stones and debris. The earlier HOWO reference number YZ166424000015 is the same style of grille.

Do I need one or two for my truck?

Two - one for each headlamp. This listing is a matched pair, so one order completes one truck.

Does the grille block the light?

No. It is an open welded wire mesh that sits in front of the lamp. The mesh pattern keeps the beam pattern intact while absorbing impacts that would otherwise crack the lens.

Can I order it together with the front bumper guard?

Yes - the grille matches the HOWO NX front guard assembly AZ000093000729 and its mounting kit AZ000093000730. Tell us which parts you need and we will quote the complete front protection set in one shipment.
